Job summary

Cloud Kinetics in Malaysia is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of our cloud and infrastructure platforms. You will help ensure the reliability, availability, and security of cloud and on-prem environments through monitoring, automation, and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in infrastructure operations across data centers and cloud environments.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering and operations, with focus on cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS environments and cloud security/governance.
• Experience supporting cloud backup and disaster recovery in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of cloud and infrastructure services, focused on AWS.
• Operate and troubleshoot cloud workloads across AWS and other hyperscale platforms (Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud).
• Implement monitoring/observability in AWS using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• Assist in backup and recovery mechanisms within AWS, including restore testing.
• Support DR and high availability configurations in AWS (Multi-AZ/Region).
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Participate in 24x7 production support and incident response for AWS workloads.
• Support cloud security, governance, and compliance in AWS.
• Maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
• Contribute to cloud optimization (auto-scaling, cost efficiency, load balancing).
• Demonstrate knowledge of AWS architecture principles and services.
