Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a DevOps Cloud Engineer to design, build, and manage cloud-based solutions, with a focus on automating deployment pipelines using Python, Terraform, and Ansible.

You will design, test, and maintain infrastructure as code, identify and fix pipeline issues, and enhance cloud security while modernising legacy applications to improve performance and scalability. Collaboration with software developers and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related field.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Strong problem solving and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience across the full software product life cycle.
• Familiar with automation tools.
• Knowledge of software security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain the infrastructure as code deployment pipelines for customer’s cloud environments.
• Identify technical problems and fix the deployment pipeline.
• Enhance the customer’s Cloud IT infrastructure security protocols.
• Modernise legacy applications to increase performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with developers to automate CI/CD processes.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps and cloud computing trends.
