Job summary

Zurich is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform. You will build scalable, containerized workloads, automate CI/CD pipelines, and embed security checks within deployments.

You will contribute to DevSecOps practices, implement proactive monitoring with Dynatrace, and participate in incident response. 5+ years in DevOps/SRE and strong scripting skills are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps or SRE experience.
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Practical experience using Terraform for IaC or similar tools.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab).
• Familiarity with monitoring, APM, and proactive alerting.

Responsibilities

• AWS & IaC: design and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
• Containerization: design and manage scalable container workloads (ECS or similar).
• CI/CD: build, enhance and maintain pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar; automate deployment workflows.
• DevSecOps: integrate automated security checks in CI/CD with tools like SonarQube, Veracode, Prisma Cloud.
• Observability: monitor performance with Dynatrace and participate in incident response.
