Job summary

MHA Consultancy Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure across AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and other platforms. You will manage on-premises hardware, virtualization, networking, and storage, while building robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and rollback.

You will work with Docker and Kubernetes, implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and performance

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, system engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure across AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and other cloud platforms.
• Manage on-premises servers, virtualization, networking, storage, firewalls, load balancers, and backups.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, deployment, and rollback.
• Operate containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalents.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards for infrastructure performance.
• Monitor and optimize performance, availability, capacity, security, and cloud costs.
• Lead incident response, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Plan and maintain backup, disaster recovery, HA, and business continuity strategies.
• Introduce AI-assisted tooling for monitoring, incident investigation, deployment validation, and automation.
• Maintain technical documentation and guide junior DevOps engineers.
• Participate in on-call support and respond to production incidents.

Job description

Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure across AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and other cloud platforms.

Manage physical and on-premises servers, including virtualization, networking, storage, firewalls, load balancers, and backup systems.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, deployment, and rollback.

Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.

Establish monitoring, centralized logging, alerting, and infrastructure performance dashboards.

Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, security, and cloud costs.

Troublesoptimizeduction issues involving applications, servers, networks, databases, Redis, and cloud services.

Lead incident response, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

Plan and maintain backup, disaster recovery, high-availability, and business continuity strategies.

Implement AI-assisted tooling for monitoring, log analysis, incident investigation, deployment validation, documentation, and operational automation.

Maintain technical documentation and provide guidance to junior DevOps engineers.

Participate in on-call support and respond to critical production incidents when required.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, system engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with multiple cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Alibaba Cloud. Experience with other cloud platforms would be an added advantage.
• Experience managing physical servers and on-premises infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking, virtualization, storage, SSL/TLS, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
• Experience in deploying, configuring, and supporting applications built with Python, PHP, and Node.js, as well as databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, or Zabbix.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Practical experience implementing AI-assisted tools, AI agents, or automation within development and infrastructure operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, communication, documentation skills.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices or relevant cloud and DevOps certifications would be an added advantage.
