Job summary

Swiss Re in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks an experienced Client Underwriter to manage treaty underwriting and client relationships across Malaysia and SEA markets. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and meet growth objectives while upholding Swiss Re’s underwriting standards.

The role requires 7–10 years in insurance/reinsurance, strong market knowledge, and excellent communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of insurance or reinsurance experience.
• Strong treaty underwriting background.
• Knowledge of Malaysia and SEA markets.
• English required; Bahasa Melayu/ Mandarin advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients at all levels including decision-makers.
• Analysing and underwriting treaty risks per guidelines.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet client growth and Swiss Re targets.
