Job summary

UEM Lestra Berhad in Malaysia is looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer to provide engineering support for renewable energy projects. The role covers design development, technical coordination, construction supervision and QA/QC to ensure timely, safe delivery.

You will review drawings, monitor site activities, coordinate with EPCs and internal teams, and document progress. The position is site-based with potential extended hours to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant civil/structural experience, preferably in renewable energy or EPCC.
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, foundations, drainage and structural works; QA/QC and HSE awareness.

Responsibilities

• Engineering & design coordination across civil and structural disciplines.
• Construction and site supervision ensuring adherence to IFC drawings, specs, ITPs and QA/QC standards.
• Technical & project coordination with EPCs, consultants, and internal teams.
• Quality, HSE and compliance monitoring, reporting and corrective actions.
• Project reporting, documentation, and records management.
• Technical risk assessment and value engineering support.
• Stakeholder and authority coordination to support schedule.
