Job summary

Scaled Solutions M Sdn Bhd is seeking a professional chemist to conduct laboratory testing and analysis of oil, gas, produced water, brine and chemical-treatment samples.

You will investigate production-chemistry issues such as scale, corrosion, emulsions, wax, asphaltenes and hydrates, interpret data, and prepare technical reports for clients while upholding HSE and chemical-handling standards. Mentoring junior staff is also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Laboratory testing and analysis of oil, gas, produced water, brine and chemical-treatment samples.
• Investigate production-chemistry problems such as scale deposition, corrosion, emulsions, wax, asphaltenes and hydrates.
• Evaluate chemical performance of production chemicals like scale inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors and demulsifiers.
• Maintain laboratory quality, HSE and chemical-handling standards.
• Mentor junior chemists/technicians and review their technical work.
