Yukiyo is seeking a Senior Cat Groomer to join our Singapore-based team on a full-time basis. The role is based in Singapore, with candidates from Malaysia who are willing to relocate or commute daily for work-permit arrangements.

You will perform comprehensive grooming, ensure low-stress handling, and train junior staff while adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards. This position offers training on our protocols and a path to professional growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform full grooming services for cats (bathing, drying, brushing, trimming, de-shedding).

• Maintain hygiene of tools, equipment, and workspace.
• Communicate grooming condition and concerns to pet owners.
• Follow Yukiyo’s grooming and safety protocols.
• Guide junior groomers or trainees when needed.

Senior Cat Groomer

Full-Time | Based in Singapore

Yukiyo.sg is looking for an experienced Senior Cat Groomer to join our growing team in Singapore.

We specialise exclusively in cats, with a strong focus on safe handling, proper grooming techniques, hygiene, and keeping the grooming experience as low-stress as possible.

This position is suitable for an experienced groomer in Malaysia who is open to work in Singapore for full-time employment under work-permit.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform full grooming services for cats, including bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, sanitary trims, de-shedding and shave-downs
• Handle cats with different temperaments, including nervous, defensive and difficult cats
• Identify matting, coat and skin conditions that require extra care during grooming
• Maintain proper hygiene and sanitisation of grooming tools, equipment and work areas
• Communicate professionally with pet owners about their cat’s grooming condition and any concerns observed
• Follow Yukiyo’s grooming, handling, hygiene and safety protocols
• Guide and support junior groomers or trainees when required

Who We’re Looking For

• Experienced professional cat groomer (Must be Certified)
• Strong practical experience handling cats independently
• Good understanding of feline behaviour and safe handling
• Able to perform complete grooming sessions without supervision
• Patient, responsible and gentle with animals
• Good communication and teamwork
• Willing to relocate or commute to Singapore daily.

Employment

• Salary: RM $5,000 to RM6,500 per month
• Training on Yukiyo’s grooming and handling protocols will be provided
