Job summary

PLC Pet Lovers Centre Sdn. Bhd. (Retail) in Penang seeks a Pet Groomer to help manage the day-to-day operations of the Pet Grooming Centre within the retail store.

You will perform grooming, schedule appointments, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and hygiene while delivering a top-class customer service and shopping experience. The role requires 2–3 years of grooming experience, a relevant certificate or skills, and the ability to supervise Assistant Groomers.

Qualifications

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in cutting & shaving fur for dogs, cats, and rabbits.
• Possess a relevant certificate or skills.
• Able to supervise and oversee Assistant Groomers.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day grooming centre operations within the retail store.
• Ensure grooming appointments are properly scheduled.
• Keep grooming equipment well maintained and safe.
• Perform pet grooming based on best practices and customers' needs.
• Maintain workplace hygiene and cleanliness; ensure pet safety throughout grooming.
• Highlight abnormalities of pets to customers to avoid conflicts.

Job description

As a Pet Groomer, you will help manage the day-to-day business operations of the Pet Grooming Centre.

Being part of the retail team, you help to build and develop a dynamic team who understands the business objectives and the importance of having the ability to deliver a Pet Lovers Centre customer service & shopping experience that is a cut above the rest.

Manage the day-to-day business operations of grooming centre within the retail store.

Ensure all grooming appointments are properly scheduled.

Ensure pet grooming equipment are well maintained.

Perform pet grooming based on the best practices and customers’ needs.

Ensure workplace safety, hygiene level and cleanliness of the grooming centre.

Ensure safety of pets throughout the grooming process.

Ensure that all pets are well taken care of.

Highlight abnormalities of pets to the customers to avoid unnecessary conflicts or misunderstanding.

Role Requirements

At least 2 to 3 years of experience in cutting & shaving furs for dogs/cats/rabbits.

Possess relevant certificate or skills.

Able to supervise and oversee the role of Assistant Groomers.
