Job summary

Aki Media is seeking an experienced architectural drafting professional to assist in creating technical drawings and plans using CAD software. You will collaborate with architects to translate concepts into detailed designs and construction drawings, and maintain organised project documentation.

The ideal candidate has a diploma in Architecture, at least 5 years of hands-on experience, and the ability to work with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines, solving site problems independently

Qualifications

• Diploma in Architecture or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience.
• Able to work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
• Able to solve site/construction problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the architectural team in creating technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
• Collaborate with architects to convert initial concepts into detailed designs and construction drawings.
• Support the design process by producing accurate and precise 2D drawings.
• Aid in the preparation of project documentation, including drafting drawings, compiling specifications, and generating reports as required.
• Maintain organised files and materials throughout the design and drafting phases to ensure efficient workflow and project continuity.
