Electrolux Home Appliances Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive managerial reporting within the FP&A Centre of Excellence and provide financial insight for decision-making.

The role focuses on daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting, analytical reviews, and supporting forecasts and budgets in a dynamic environment. Hybrid work in Petaling Jaya is offered with opportunities for learning and career growth.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar.
• 4+ years within Finance function.
• Previous financial analysis experience is a plus.
• Excellent MS Excel and Power BI is a strong merit.
• Fluency in English (business English).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, team player with good communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with financial systems.

All about the role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you are part of the backbone delivering the managerial reporting within the FP&A Centre of Excellence Organization, as well as driving in-depth analysis of the results. In a dynamic and fast-moving environment, you act as a financial advisor by providing decision-making support, business intelligence, and financial performance reporting. You are responsible for preparing daily, monthly, and quarterly management reports (e.g., P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow), conducting in-depth analysis, participating in continuous improvement efforts across our processes and act as subject matter expert & change agent.

What you’ll do

• Play a key role in the business planning and review processes, providing analytical and strategic support to internal customers throughout the business.
• Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to deliver insights on operational trends within the business.
• Perform in-depth analysis of critical business activities and business units in order to determine upcoming business opportunities and risks.
• Participate in the creation of annual forecasts and budgets, as well as advanced quantitative analysis and financial models.
• Assist with the preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting schedules, as well as automating reporting processes.
• Play a strategic role in the reporting and planning of the company’s workforce and operational management.
• Assist with other ad hoc tasks to ensure the FP&A team manages its deliverables.
• Act as change agent to drive transformations, standardization, and process improvements.
• Shares expertise with colleagues and others; offers mentoring and guidance to others.
• Identifies and solves problems in straightforward situations; generates possible solutions, analyzes each using standard procedures.
• Explains/presents complex information; anticipates potential objections and prepares case accordingly; influences others.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar Experience 4+ years within Finance function (Finance & Accounting and/or Business Analysis).
• Previous financial analysis experience would be an asset.
• Excellence in MS Office suite (especially Excel), Power BI is a strong merit.
• Fluency in English (business English)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly proactive and self-motivated team player with great social and communication skills.
• Tech savvy with strong interest in financial systems.
