Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Application Engineer to provide technical support for customer quotations and business development case studies in composite applications. The role involves rapid demonstrations of how composite-based solutions meet customer requirements, with costing, timing, and resources included in proposals.

Travel with the business development team to customer facilities will be required to discuss opportunities in depth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Willing to travel to customer facilities as required.
• Knowledge of PLC/BMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for customer quotations and BD case studies.
• Demonstrate composite-based solutions with costing, timing, and resources.
• Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints and related docs.
• Create 3D CAD representations of finished goods and tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and ops to formulate design details.
