Job summary

PETRONAS seeks a Senior Executive to manage and coordinate banking and treasury operations for the organisation in Perak, Malaysia. You will oversee bank accounts, facilities and guarantees, daily cash management, forecasting, and treasury reporting to support management decisions and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a recognized degree in finance, accounting, banking or related fields, with experience in banking operations and cash management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in finance, accounting, banking, treasury or related field.
• ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/CIMA or equivalent desirable.
• Experience in banking operations, treasury, cash and liquidity management, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate bank accounts, facilities, and bank guarantees with proper governance.
• Monitor daily cash position and liquidity to optimise funds and inter-bank transfers.
• Prepare treasury reporting, cash flow forecasts and reconciliations.
• Oversee receipts and bank reconciliation, resolve mismatches.
• Oversee electronic banking, payment/collection channels and security controls.
• Provide FX and treasury advisory to departments and manage regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Ensure governance, risk, and compliance with policies and controls.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to standardise and improve processes.
