Job summary

Huasin Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a bakery production specialist to oversee the end-to-end baking process, develop new recipes, and drive product innovation while maintaining premium quality.

You will work with Production, Operations, and Maintenance to ensure recipes and processes are executed, with strict adherence to GMP, HACCP, and HALAL standards. The role requires 3–5 years of bakery manufacturing experience and willingness to travel between Kepong and Rawang.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing process of bakery products.
• Experience in SOP development, quality audits, and process improvement.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, HALAL requirements.
• Willing to travel between multiple factories & overseas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee baking process from start to finish to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials, as well as finished products.
• Develop new recipes and improve existing formulas.
• Drive product innovation and technical development for existing and new products.
• Identify and resolve product quality issues based on customer feedback.
• Initiate cost control initiatives as well as monitoring of wastage and inefficiencies.
• Work closely with Production, Operations & Maintenance teams to ensure recipes and baking process are executed accordingly.
• Ensure all R&D protocols and production handling procedures adhere strictly to local food safety regulations, hygiene codes, and Halal certification requirements.
• Lead and train a team of bakers on baking techniques, procedures and continuous improvement.
