Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• Preferably 2-5 years experience in Data Analyst role or similar.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Power Query, Pivot Table, BI Dashboard.
• Strong understanding of database management systems and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge applicable to business contexts.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Preferred experience in industries FMCG, distribution, trading, retail or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales & operational performance reports.
• Collect, consolidate, and validate data from various sources across the organisation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Develop and maintain data dashboards and visualisations to communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders.
• Analyze sales trends, new product performance, customer purchasing patterns and sales growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounts, Sales, and IT to validate data and recommend improvements.
• Review and reconcile operational data against accounting reports and P&L to identify discrepancies and potential issues.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and compelling manner.

Huasin Food Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Data Analyst Executive to join our team in Rawang, Selangor on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions across our food production and operations. As a Data Analyst Executive, you will play a crucial part in helping our organisation optimise processes, identify trends, and unlock opportunities for growth and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Prepare daily, Weekly and monthly sales & operational performance reports
