Job summary

Employment Hero is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build, enhance and deploy impactful product features across the Employment Operating System. You’ll contribute to AI-powered hiring tools, fully automated payroll and HR solutions, spanning frontend and backend in a remote-first, globally distributed team.

You will collaborate with designers, product managers and engineers, mentor teammates, and grow into a FullStack role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development with server-side and RESTful API experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Ruby, Python, Java, and PHP; willingness to learn Ruby.
• Experience implementing, maintaining, and deploying full-stack web technologies.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering processes, testing, and Agile methodology.
• Mentoring or leading an engineering squad is a plus.
• English language abilities for global collaboration.
