Job summary

AutoCount is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to lead technical initiatives and drive cloud-based applications. The role balances hands-on coding with team leadership, architecting robust solutions and ensuring scalable deployments using Kubernetes.

You will mentor a small team of developers, optimize MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases, and oversee end-to-end delivery of high-performance web apps in a Linux cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven software development experience
• Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a development team (3+ members)
• Deep knowledge of C# and the .NET Core framework
• Extensive experience with MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including design and optimization
• Solid understanding of deploying on Linux environments and managing workloads with Kubernetes
• Experience setting up monitoring tools and resolving live production incidents
• Proven track record of implementing testing frameworks and leading code reviews

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide a squad of 3+ developers
• Database Management & Optimization: Architect and maintain MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL schemas; tune performance
• Cloud & Deployment: Manage deployment lifecycles on cloud-based Linux VMs; use Kubernetes for orchestration
• Production Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor health and uptime; troubleshoot live issues
• Code Quality & Security: Enforce testing methodologies; lead code reviews for quality and security
• System Modernization: Drive upgrades and refactoring for performance
