Job summary

NTT DATA is looking for an experienced Data Platforms & AI Azure Architect to join our Cloud & Security practice in Malaysia, supporting clients across the ASEAN region. You will design, modernise and scale data platforms on Microsoft Azure, working across data architecture, analytics, AI enablement, presales and advisory.

Lead engagements with senior stakeholders, map business challenges to data-driven outcomes, and collaborate with AI, cloud, security and application teams to deliver joined-up

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Microsoft technology experience with Azure data platform architecture.
• Proven track record designing enterprise data platforms (batch, streaming, ETL, analytics, reporting).
• Solid knowledge of Azure data services, governance, and data lifecycle management.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or other modern data platform technologies.
• Prior presales or solution consulting experience in cloud/ops environments.

Responsibilities

• Design modern Azure data platform solutions for enterprise clients.
• Architect data ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and reporting across Azure.
• Support solution design across batch, streaming, ETL, data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse patterns.
• Advise clients on Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI, and related Azure data services.
• Help clients modernise legacy data platforms and define practical migration or transformation roadmaps.
• Support presales activities, including client workshops, discovery sessions, proposals, solution estimates, and executive presentations.
• Work with AI, cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams to create joined-up data and AI solutions.
• Map business challenges to data-driven technology outcomes and commercially sensible solution options.
