Job summary

NTT DATA in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Azure Architect to help clients modernise, migrate, and optimise their infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will work across presales, solution design, client advisory and delivery handover to move from legacy environments to secure, scalable cloud platforms.

The role covers Azure Landing Zones, networking, governance, cost considerations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Microsoft technology experience with hands-on Azure infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones, Azure networking, migration design and cloud IaaS.
• Strong understanding of hybrid connectivity, identity, governance and operating models.
• Experience supporting presales or solution development in a cloud SI/consulting environment.
• Ability to present to senior client stakeholders including CxO level.

Responsibilities

• Design Azure infrastructure modernisation solutions for enterprise clients.
• Lead Azure migration planning and 6Rs assessment for applications and infra.
• Design Landing Zones, networking, identity integration, governance and foundations.
• Support IaC approaches using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates or similar.
• Collaborate with DevOps, platform, network, security, and operations teams.
• Support presales activities, including solution shaping and client workshops.
• Explain cost, performance, governance and FinOps considerations across Azure IaaS.
• Translate client challenges into actionable cloud roadmaps.
