Qualifications

• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on with Java Spring Boot and API gateways.
• Experience with API management platforms such as Axway, Apigee, Kong, or Layer 7.
• Proficient in Unix/Linux, Oracle DB (12c/19c) and Cassandra.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Develop and support API management solutions using Axway API Manager, API Gateway, or equivalent platforms (Apigee, Kong, Layer 7).
• Build scalable backend services for enterprise banking applications (WAM/OPI).
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure API security, performance, and reliability across environments.
• Work on integration with Oracle 12c/19c databases and/or Cassandra DB.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical solutioning.
• Support deployment activities in Unix/Linux environments.
• Follow SDLC, coding standards, and DevOps best practices.
