Job summary

A software development company based in Johor Bahru is seeking an experienced professional specializing in AWS cloud infrastructure. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert, supporting application deployment and operations while creating CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field and have at least 2 years of relevant experience, including professional AWS certifications. Responsibilities

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in AWS cloud infrastructure solution implementation.
• AWS cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Support Web Application configuration and operations on AWS environment.
• Create CI/CD Pipeline tools and scripts for application deployments.
• Apply knowledge of Agile and DevOps to development and deployment.
• Participate in continuous enhancement in change and configuration management.
• Support application deployment and production operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in implementing and operating web applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Cloud Management Platforms (CMP’s) and automation tools such as CloudFormation & Terraform.
• Experience in Microservice and Cloud native architecture.
• Experience in developing and testing AWS Products & Services.
• Attained professional certifications in AWS with at least 2 years of implementation experience.
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (to communicate with Chinese speaking clients & colleagues).
• Knowledge of DevOps techniques such as ITIL, CISSP, TOGAF or other relevant certifications are added advantage.
