Job summary

The HEINEKEN Company Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans across safety, quality, and reliability domains. You will manage asset master data and CMMS documentation to ensure accurate planning and reporting, while monitoring plant performance to drive uptime and efficiency.

You will lead maintenance improvements, support automation initiatives, and mentor technicians in best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical or related field.
• 5–8 years in maintenance engineering, automation or asset reliability in manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in process automation and OT within industrial environments.
• Experience in maintenance engineering, preventive maintenance, and asset reliability management.
• Good understanding of IT systems and integration with automation platforms.
• Experience in cost control, inventory management, and spare parts planning.
• Hands-on CMMS and asset master data management as a key user or owner.
• Fluent in applying RCM, FMECA, TPM and other maintenance optimization tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for safety, legal, quality, and equipment reliability.
• Manage asset master data and CMMS documentation for accurate planning and reporting.
• Monitor plant/equipment performance and drive uptime and efficiency improvements.
• Execute maintenance improvements including breakdown analysis and MOC.
• Support automation and digitalisation, maintaining automation master plans and backups.
• Manage spare parts strategy, critical inventory, supplier agreements, and CAPEX activities.
• Mentor technicians on maintenance best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Drive TPM and continuous improvement through maintenance optimization.
