Job summary

PENTAMASTER CORPORATION BERHAD, a Malaysian investment holding company, seeks an Automation Engineer to design, implement and maintain control software for manufacturing equipment. You will develop programs per customer and management requirements and ensure machines run to specification.

The role requires hands-on work with C++/C#, Computer Vision, OpenCV, imaging, and PLCs, plus knowledge of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and GPU/CUDA programming as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related fields as listed.
• Experience with C++/C#, Computer Vision, OpenCV & Imaging, PLC.
• Exposure to Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and GPU/CUDA is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, software architecture and image processing algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain control program for manufacturing equipment.
• Write and develop programs based on customer and management requirements.
• Run and operate machines, ensuring operation per specification.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix machines per specification.
• Provide customer service when needed.
• Provide training to new recruit programmers.
• Utilize hardware and develop software to improve equipment efficiency.
• Modify and retrofit software and hardware for consistent quality output.
• Follow up on assignments and guide engineers to meet requirements.
