Job summary

Haleon is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer for our site operations maintenance team in Kuala Lumpur. You will act as the SME for electrical, PLC/SCADA/OT systems, ensuring safety, compliance and reliability across manufacturing and packaging.

The role involves leading automation upgrades, providing technical input for capital projects, and driving continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and data visibility. Hybrid work and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Experience in supporting industrial automation in manufacturing (cleanroom) settings.
Familiar with engineering compliance, documentation standards, and internal/external requirements.
Knowledge of CSV validation deliverables for automation projects and changes.

Responsibilities

Owns site automation authority for electrical/automation equipment and OT systems.
Lead automation/OT upgrades and capital projects from scoping to commissioning.
Provide technical liaison for automation in capital projects and vendor coordination.
Drive process improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and data visibility.
Support downtime troubleshooting with Maintenance, Facilities and Projects teams.
