Job summary

PwC Malaysia is seeking a Senior Manager for the Assurance Methodology team to enhance audit quality and develop supplemental guidance. You will lead hot reviews, provide coaching and training, and support the implementation of PwC Audit across engagements.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline and/or a professional accounting qualification such as ICAEW/ACCA/MICPA-CAANZ/CPA Australia.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and practice.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills; technology savvy.

Responsibilities

• Quality assurance: spearhead audits and assurance engagements; conduct hot and cold reviews and support PwC Audit projects.
• Coaching and guidance: assist engagement teams with coaching and advice to achieve quality outcomes.
• Streamline audit approaches: refine methodologies and use of tools to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Methodology support: respond to inquiries and provide guidance on PwC audit applications.
• Internal communications: prepare materials for dissemination and training within the practice.
• Industry-specific needs: collaborate to address methodology needs across industries.
• Cross-functional collaboration: engage with Assurance enablers on projects.
• Global representation: support global methodology initiatives at the local level and with working groups.
• Training development: create and review training materials on auditing standards and improvements.
• Support engagement teams during inspections to ensure alignment with PwC Audit requirements.
