Job summary

PwC South Africa in Malaysia seeks a Senior Associate to lead parts of audits for financial services clients. You will own audit areas from planning to completion, guide junior team members and build trusted client relationships while applying sound professional judgement.

You will use data and analytics to improve audit quality, coordinate fieldwork, and ensure timely delivery. Strong English communication and a proactive mindset are essential as you contribute to team learning and practice

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualification (ACCA/ICAEW/MICPA or CPA Australia) preferred.
• At least two years of external audit experience with financial services clients.
• Strong English communication and ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead assigned sections of financial statement audits.
• Understand client business and identify risks affecting reporting.
• Coordinate fieldwork and track progress against timelines.
• Coach junior team members and review audit work.
• Communicate findings clearly to managers and partners.
