Job summary

Ket & Co. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking audit/accounting professionals with a diploma or degree in accountancy and at least 3 years of experience. The firm values self-motivation, accuracy and reliability, and offers exposure to diverse client base across Malaysia.

Junior candidates are welcome; responsibilities will be discussed during interview based on experience, with supervision by audit managers and collaboration with colleagues to ensure quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma; preferably Bachelor's/Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia to communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• At least 3 years of experience in audit/accounting (semi/seniors welcome).
• Junior candidates are welcome; responsibilities discussed during interview based on experience.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude; commitment to quality, accuracy and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute audit assignments per firm methodology and standards.
• Lead and supervise audit junior/semi-senior team members.
• Review working papers to ensure procedures are performed and documented.
• Perform and/or review basic tax computations before managerial review.
• Participate in audit planning, client discussions and closing meetings.
• Liaise with clients on audit matters, documents, findings and adjustments.
