Job summary

K.INDRA & ASSOCIATES in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to lead and supervise audit engagements for SME and corporate clients. You will plan, execute, and review audits, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with MFRS, MPERS, and ISAs, while guiding junior staff.

The role requires 3–4 years of external audit experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in ABOT/AXP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–4 years of external audit experience.
• Good understanding of MFRS, MPERS, and ISAs.
• Able to supervise, guide, and review junior audit staff.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Working experience with ABOT and AXP audit software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete audit assignments for SMEs and corporate clients.
• Supervise and guide junior audit staff throughout audit engagements.
• Review audit working papers and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Identify and communicate audit issues to the audit manager.
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and documents.
• Ensure audit assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior staff.
• Assist the audit manager in managing engagements and resolving matters.
• Perform other audit-related duties assigned by management.
