Job summary

Genting Energy in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced professional to support the Audit & Compliance Department in independent assurance across oil, gas, and power projects. You will conduct assurance reviews, track findings, and facilitate closure of corrective actions while supporting management reporting.

The role requires 5–8 years in audit, risk, compliance, and governance, with familiarity in oil & gas environments and SAP/ERP data analytics tools.

Qualifications

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Internal Audit, Assurance, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, Finance, or Project Controls.
Experience within Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, EPCIC, Energy, or Major Capital projects is preferred.
Experience conducting assurance reviews, operational reviews, risk assessments, or compliance monitoring activities.
Familiarity with project governance, contract management, procurement processes, and internal control frameworks.

Responsibilities

Participate in assurance reviews of Oil & Gas operations, projects, and corporate functions.
Perform risk assessments, process walkthroughs, and control evaluations.
Assess governance, risk management, and internal control processes.
Identify control gaps and propose practical improvements.
Prepare assurance working papers, reviews, and reports.
Monitor compliance with DOA, procurement governance, and internal controls.
