TNL Partners PLT in Malaysia seeks a Senior Audit Associate to own engagements from planning through completion, working closely with clients to turn financial data into clear findings and deliver timely financial reports.

The role requires a degree in accounting or finance, at least 3 years in audit, and professional qualification progress; strong analytical, communication, and deadline-driven work style are essential.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in audit.
• ACCA, ICAEW, CPA or MIA membership or in progress is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good written and spoken communication skills with clients.
• Collaborative, organised and proactive approach to deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and perform audit engagements per standards and firm procedures.
• Prepare and review audit working papers, financial statements and schedules.
• Analyse financial data, assess risks and evaluate controls.
• Identify audit findings and explain practical recommendations to clients.
• Liaise with clients and Company Secretary to obtain information.
• Monitor engagement timelines and communicate issues to managers and clients.
• Review work by junior team members and provide feedback.

• Plan and perform audit engagements in line with professional standards and firm procedures.
• Prepare and review audit working papers, financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Analyse financial data, assess risks and evaluate relevant controls.
• Identify audit findings and explain practical recommendations to clients.
• Liaise with clients and the Company Secretary to obtain statutory information and supporting documents.
• Monitor engagement timelines and communicate issues clearly to managers and clients.
• Review work completed by junior team members and provide helpful feedback where required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in audit.
