Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Audit Assistant to support the audit and assurance services for clients across various industries. You will perform audits, prepare statements under the Companies Act 2016, and ensure timely delivery of assignments while collaborating with the team.

Fresh graduates or those with 1–2 years' experience, and a solid understanding of Malaysian Accounting Standards are preferred. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Accounting degree, Professional Certificate or Higher Diploma; or pursuing a professional qualification.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of working experience.
• Knowledge of Malaysian Accounting Standards and related regulations.

An Audit Assistant role within an established Chartered Accountants firm providing professional audit and assurance services. You will perform and assist in audit of companies from various industries, working with clients across manufacturing, trading, construction, and investment holdings.

Key responsibilities

Perform and assist in audit of companies from various industries

Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable approved accounting standards in Malaysia and the requirements of the Companies Act 2016

Ensure timeliness of completion of audit assignments

Collaborate with the audit team to identify and address risks and issues

Liaise and communicate with clients on audit assignments

Carry out other relevant work that may be assigned from time to time

Familiar with auditsme software

About you

Minimum qualification in degree of Accounting, Professional Certificate, Higher Diploma or currently pursuing a Professional Qualification

Fresh graduates or minimum 1–2 years of working experience

Knowledge of Malaysian Accounting Standards and related regulations

Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
