Job summary

Tapway Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Application Security) to own the security of every application we build and run across Vision AI, agentic AI platforms, web and mobile apps, APIs and cloud infrastructure.

As a senior individual contributor, you will identify weaknesses across the stack, embed security into how engineers design, code and ship, and be the go-to person for security decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in application security or related field.
• Proficient in secure coding practices and threat modeling.
• Experience with web/mobile/API security testing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and harden all applications (web, backend, API...).
• Define and enforce security controls across CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to fix vulnerabilities and improve security posture.
