Job summary

Inter Island Group is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. You will work with distributed teams, implement responsive interfaces, and collaborate with product owners to deliver high-quality software.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of frontend development with Angular, strong testing knowledge, and experience with CI pipelines, Agile ceremonies, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience using Angular.
• Strong knowledge of unit testing and frontend application development.
• Experience building responsive web applications from design mockups.
• Familiarity with Agile, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop and maintain unit tests and end-to-end automation tests.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality improvements.
• Implement and maintain CI pipelines.
• Work closely with product owners and distributed engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Break down complex requirements into manageable development tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers where required.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain relevant technical documentation.
