Job summary

Ourclient is a well-established private education group with multi-campus presence in Malaysia. Petaling Jaya campus seeks Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor of Anatomy to teach medical anatomy, curriculum development, and student mentorship.

The ideal candidate will lead research activities, supervise postgraduate students, and contribute to program administration and quality assurance documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (MBBS) and Master or PhD in Medicine or equivalent.
• At least 5 to 10 years’ experience in teaching at College/University level; research and publication track record/proven.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, tutorials, assignments and class discussions.
• Utilize learning management system to maximize student learning.
• Prepare teaching materials such as teaching notes, manuals, slides, readings for student learning.
• Develop, review and update all lesson plans and syllabi to reflect current practice.
• Prepare test/examination questions together with marking schemes in timely manner.
• Prepare/update portfolio for every course taught.
• Act as academic advisor/mentor to students and offer pastoral support.
• Participate actively in research and secure research grants.
• Supervise research students at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
• Achieve specified research outcomes in terms of publications, conference proceedings, etc.
• Coordinate the biostatistics/public health/community medicine modules.
• Engage in ISO and MQA documentation for the above modules.
• Perform other administrative duties as required by the Dean/Head/Program Leader
