Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Specialist qualification (Master’s in Clinical Specialty, MRCP, FRCS, or equivalent).
• MBBS with additional postgraduate qualifications in medical education or research (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 citations in peer‑reviewed publications within the past 3 years.
• Minimum of 3 Scopus-indexed publications within the past 3 years.
• H-Index of 3 or above (as measured by Scopus or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Teaching & Learning: Deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals, and clinical teaching sessions; develop and update curriculum, materials, and assessment tools; supervise students and research projects; mentor staff and improve teaching quality.
• Research & Scholarly Activity: Conduct independent and collaborative research; publish in indexed journals; secure grants; supervise postgraduate students; promote inter-disciplinary research.
• Academic Administration & Service: Contribute to committees, curriculum review, accreditation; support student affairs and academic advising; participate in outreach and continuing medical education; represent the faculty.
