Job summary

AirAsia Berhad seeks a capable airline planning professional to lead the development and dissemination of routing solutions for its widebody and narrowbody network from Kuala Lumpur. You will supervise schedules, coordinate with operations, and ensure schedules maximize revenue while meeting constraints.

The role requires 1–2 years in airline planning (or fresh graduates with a relevant degree), familiarity with scheduling tools, and strong leadership to guide a growing team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in airline planning and scheduling; fresh graduates welcomed.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aviation Management, Transportation or equivalent experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of airline operations and scheduling; sound knowledge of schedule development and crew optimization; knowledge of Slot management (SSIM/SSM/ASM).

Responsibilities

• Leads development and dissemination of airline routing solutions for AirAsia's route network.
• Leads implementation of holiday and day-of-week flight schedules to maximize revenue.
• Evaluates and implements fleet changes, special events, and charter schedules to meet operational requirements.
• Partners with operational teams to balance operational, financial and efficiency goals.
• Facilitates communication of future flight schedules among stakeholders.
• Oversees distribution of finalized schedules for publication to internal and external customers.
• Develops capabilities of a large team through coaching, mentoring, and growth opportunities.
• Creates a culture of professionalism, strong work ethic, and company pride.
