Job summary

NEXT Ventures is seeking a Software Engineer, Traders Experience (AI-Native) to lead the Trader Experience Squad across dashboard and mobile applications. You will drive technical direction, squad execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, high-performance experiences, improve trader engagement, and optimize onboarding and checkout flows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full stack software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in PHP/Laravel and Node.js
• Experience with Next.js and high-traffic web or mobile apps
• Focus on UX, performance, reliability and scalable architectures
• Experience leading sprint planning and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with AI-native engineering workflows a plus

Responsibilities

• Own and improve end-to-end trader journey across dashboards and apps
• Reduce dashboard-related support tickets by identifying friction points
• Drive onboarding, KYC, purchase, checkout, and account management improvements
• Lead mobile app development for iOS and Android with parity to web
• Design scalable backend APIs and event-driven workflows
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards across the squad
