GrabTaxi Holdings Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Engineer to contribute to AI-first enterprise applications and internal platforms.

You will own features from design to production, guiding junior engineers, and partnering with Product Managers and stakeholders to deliver secure, observable systems. You will report to the Engineering Manager, Business Applications, and this role is onsite at our Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with agentic engineering tools such as Cursor, Claude Code or Codex.
• Understanding APIs, databases, software design fundamentals, and trade-offs in enterprise apps.
• Experience writing automated tests and improving observability.
• Ability to own a scoped project or technical outcome and deliver results.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain production features, services, integrations and workflows for internal enterprise apps.
• Make sound trade-offs across quality, maintainability, security, reliability, cost and delivery speed.
• Contribute to reusable foundations for agentic applications including APIs, data access and identity controls.
• Apply automated testing, observability and production monitoring throughout delivery lifecycle.
• Prototype and iterate using data and user feedback, then harden approaches for production.
• Review code and designs, provide feedback and guide junior engineers.
• Support production delivery and incident investigation; document learnings.
