Job summary

The Access Group in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a Senior AI Assurance Lead to drive responsible AI adoption. You will coordinate AI risk assessments, design assurance programs, and collaborate with Cyber, Product, and Legal teams to ensure robust controls across AI systems and workflows.

This hybrid role offers a dynamic environment, a focus on risk-based assurance, and opportunities to shape AI governance in a rapidly evolving cloud-based software company.

Qualifications

• Practical understanding of generative AI, LLMs, ML services or AI-enabled apps.
• Experience in technology, cyber, product, risk or assurance, with documenting proportionate findings.
• Ability to use risk, security, observability or monitoring tools and interpret outputs.
• Familiarity with AI security risks like prompt injection, data leakage and excessive agency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate AI discovery, inventory and intake with clear business owners and technical contacts.
• Lead proportionate initial AI risk assessments and document risk profiles with evidence gaps.
• Establish and monitor AI risk via proportionate monitoring cycles and automated tooling.
• Plan and coordinate AI security testing and assurance, engaging specialist teams as needed.
• Maintain AI threat intelligence and horizon monitoring with governance inputs.
• Produce risk-based reporting and escalate material issues through cyber and enterprise risk routes.
