Job summary

Mintel in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to join our AI Automation team. You will design and build production‑grade AI applications, with a focus on agentic LLM orchestration across React/TypeScript frontends and Python backends.

You will contribute to robust system architecture, DevOps practices, and cloud deployments (AWS). The role requires collaboration with global stakeholders and a flexible schedule in a hybrid KL office setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production-grade AI applications with LLMs and agentic AI.
• Strong full-stack skills: React/TypeScript frontend, Python backend, APIs, and SQL data workflows.
• Experience with cloud deployments, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and AWS preferred.
• Solid software architecture experience including scalable, secure systems, data flows and integration points.
• Ability to work in Agile teams with stakeholders across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and operate production-grade full‑stack applications (React/TypeScript, Python, APIs, databases).
• Develop agentic AI systems, including LLM orchestration and tool use for reliable production AI.
• Create robust evaluation frameworks for LLMs and agentic AI, with metrics and test datasets.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver scalable solutions.
• Own technical design decisions, focusing on scalability, reliability, security and observability.
