Job summary

Allianz Malaysia is seeking an Actuarial professional in Kuala Lumpur with 2–7 years of Actuarial Valuation experience. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting, supporting IFRS17, modelling and experience studies, while identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

The role emphasizes driving productivity, improving actuarial controls, and leading a team of staff to strengthen technical know-how within the department.

Qualifications

• Degree or Postgraduate in Actuarial studies.
• Candidates with 2 to 7 years of Actuarial Valuation related work experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High learning agility and work efficiency.
• Good verbal, written and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive with a strong drive for success.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of reporting to feedback results achieved and to highlight areas at risk to ensure sustainable growth. Accountable for Allianz Group Reporting including Value of New Business and IFRS17, modelling, experience studies, among other.
• Prepare business plans to identify key risk areas and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
• Support organizational transformation by strengthening actuarial controls and processes to achieve target productivity.
• Keep track and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
• To lead and develop actuarial staffs to improve technical know-how of the Department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
