Job summary

Allianz Malaysia is seeking an Executive / Senior Executive, Actuarial Valuation to contribute to accurate reporting of actuarial results and IFRS17. You will prepare analyses, support value of new business, and work on controls and processes to improve productivity.

The role requires a degree or postgraduate in actuarial studies, 2–7 years of valuation experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or Postgraduate in Actuarial studies.
• 2 to 7 years of Actuarial Valuation experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High learning agility and work efficiency.
• Good verbal, written and communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of reporting to feedback results achieved and to highlight areas at risk to ensure sustainable growth. Accountable for Allianz Group Reporting including Value of New Business and IFRS17, modelling, experience studies, among other.
• Prepare business plans to identify key risk areas and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
• Support organizational transformation by strengthening actuarial controls and processes to achieve target productivity.
• Keep track and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
• To lead and develop actuarial staffs to improve technical know-how of the Department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
