Job summary

BAN NGAI ENGINEERING SDN BHD invites an experienced Accountant to supervise a small team and oversee the full set of accounts, ensuring timely monthly close and accurate reporting. You will handle intercompany reconciliations, bank reconciliations, tax submissions, and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCount is preferred, with Mandarin as an advantage. This on-site role offers a competitive salary with yearly increments, performance bonus, and

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, able to handle full set of accounts independently.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and practices.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AutoCount is an added advantage.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for liaising with clients/vendors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small team of AR & AP staff.
• Manage full set of accounts and monthly closing activities.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure timely e-invoice submissions.
• Prepare and submit service tax.
• Prepare and send weekly reports.
• Handle banking transactions and accounting journals.
• Review and prepare bank reconciliations, resolving outstanding items promptly.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents for year-end audits.
• Maintain accurate filing and records of financial documents.
• Support manager with ad-hoc finance-related tasks.
