Seng Li Marketing SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join our Johor Bahru team, reporting to the Finance Manager. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial transactions while supporting growth initiatives.

The role emphasizes monthly closings, journal entries, variance analysis, and process improvements. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with bankers, auditors, and regulatory bodies as needed to uphold financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or a professional certificate (ACCA/CPA/MIA) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle complex financial data.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Financial Closing & Reporting: Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Journal Entries & Compliance: Lead posting, verification of journal entries, ensuring compliance with guidelines and policies.
• Financial Analysis & Variance Reporting: Conduct analysis and variance reporting to support decision-making.
• Process Improvement & Operations: Drive improvements to optimize reporting efficiency.
• Team Guidance & Mentorship: Support manager with mentoring junior team members.
• External Liaison: Coordinate with bankers, auditors, tax agencies, and secretaries.
