Job summary

Renesas Electronics, a leading embedded semiconductor solutions provider, seeks a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations focused on inventory and cost accounting. You will help ensure accurate month-end close and financial reporting for related accounts.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 5+ years of experience, strong Excel and SAP skills, and the ability to work with auditors and cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience supporting month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience dealing with auditors.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Assist with inventory, cost accounting, and related reconciliations and analysis.
• Prepare journal entries
• Support intercompany reconciliations
• Coordination with Business Controller team on inventory reserve
