Job summary

HR PRO Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced accounting professional to handle the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL and month-end closing. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

You will prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports, perform reconciliations, manage invoicing and cash flow, and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in handling full set accounts, reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiar with accounting software and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Responsible, organized and able to handle confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and relevant accounting schedules.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Manage invoicing, payments, collections and follow-up on outstanding accounts.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning and reporting.
• Handle billing, disbursements, payments and other financial transactions.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
• Liaise with internal departments, clients, auditors, tax agents and other external parties when required.
• Assist with audit, tax preparation and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
