Micron Technology, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Test Equipment Technician to troubleshoot and repair SSD test equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support upgrades and new hardware deployments, and ensure uptime.

You will calibrate, verify, and validate equipment, monitor reliability, keep logs, and follow safety and cleanroom procedures. A diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related field is required, along with

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical documentation, schematics, and SOPs.
• Willing to work in a cleanroom and support shift operations.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues on SSD test equipment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance according to established schedules and procedures.
• Support equipment recovery activities to minimize downtime and production impact.
• Assist engineers in equipment upgrades, modifications, qualifications, and new hardware deployments.
• Conduct equipment calibration, verification, and validation activities.
• Monitor equipment health and identify opportunities for reliability improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring equipment failures.
• Follow all safety, quality, ESD, and cleanroom procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, yield, and equipment performance.
