Job summary

techware Group in Malaysia is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the machine assembly process in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will manage production, warehouse logistics, and quality control to ensure the highest standards are met and targets are achieved.

You will lead cross-functional teams, implement lean processes, enforce SOPs, and promote a culture of safety while driving continuous improvement across production, inventory, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields.
• An advanced degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous.
• Proven experience of 5 years in semiconductor manufacturing or similar high-tech industries, with a focus on machine fabrication and production management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the machine production team, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Develop and implement efficient production processes to optimize output, minimize downtime, and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to streamline assembly procedures and improve product efficiency.
• Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, machinery, and materials, to meet delivery targets date effectively.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with safety regulations.
