Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking an Equipment Technician to support the setup, maintenance and improvement of manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced cleanroom environment. You will troubleshoot failures, perform preventive maintenance, and assist in inventory control, safety compliance and process upgrades.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork and the ability to read schematics and manuals, with moderate English reading ability. Overtime may be necessary during peak demand.

Qualifications

• Technical school or Diploma in mechanical/electrical or related field.
• Ability to operate basic semiconductor equipment (wire bonder, reflow oven, SMT).
• Good judgment, communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of BOM, SAP, MES, and Microsoft basics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment failures and minimize downtime.
• Support equipment setup, installation and qualification.
• Work with engineers on process/equipment upgrades.
• Maintain maintenance records and PM activities.
• Follow safety, quality, and 5S policies.
