Job summary

OSI Optoelectronics is seeking an Equipment Technician to support setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of die attach, wire bonding, seam sealer, and laser marking equipment. The role focuses on ensuring efficient and safe operation of all machinery and supporting continuous improvement across production lines.

Responsibilities include initial setup for new production runs, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with engineers and quality teams to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Certificate / Diploma in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronic or Equivalent.
• Must be able to work in rotation shift ( day/night ).
• Experience with die attach and wire bonding equipment is an added advantage.
• Familiar with basic automation equipment programming and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Setup and Troubleshooting.
• Perform initial setup for new production runs and assist in the development of new processes.
• Ability to perform assembly equipment conversion and major troubleshooting to ensure smoothed production line.
• Ability to perform machine preventive maintenance job and to improve equipment capability through continuous improvement activities.
• Work closely with engineers and senior technicians, production and quality teams to improve processes and equipment performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
